PROPOSED STRATEGY FOR MINIMIZING ANNUAL
OPERATING EXPENSES AND MAXIMIZING ANNUAL
OPERATING REVENUES.
Since the Arena Operator manages US Airways Center, there will be savings in
a number of areas due to economies of scale. The following areas in particular
will benefit from common management of two arenas in the market: Executive
Management, Event Booking, Sales and Marketing, Event Staffing, Human
Resources, Payroll, Accounting and Engineering. There may also be revenue
opportunities by utilizing our collective leverage with regard to concessions,
ticketing and merchandise sales.
COMPETITIVE VENUES
IDENTIFY ANY COMPETING FACILITIES MANAGED
BY THE CONTRACTING ENTITY.
The Arena Operator manages US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix and has
had a competitive relationship with the Arena. By managing the event mix in the
market it is our belief that we can ultimately increase revenues for both venues by
increasing rents and reducing rebates to artists. Preliminary analysis indicates this
could translate into significant additional revenue annually.
ANCHOR TENANT PLAN
PROVIDE EXPLANATION OF THE CONTRACTING
ENTITY’S EXPERIENCE WITH ATTRACTING AN
ANCHOR TENANT FOR A FACILITY COMPARABLE TO
THE ARENA.
Our organization has owned and/or worked with multiple anchor tenants over the
years, most notably NBA, ECHL Hockey, Arena Football, WNBA, Indoor Soccer
and Team Tennis. It is our plan to own and operate a minor league hockey team or
another suitable primary tenant at the Arena.
