Area of use «emergency escape»<br />
Panic bolts in accordance with EN <strong>11</strong>25 are, on the other hand, used on<br />
emergency escape doors in public buildings where the visitors do not know<br />
the function of the emergency escape doors and must be able to use them in<br />
an emergency without instruction when necessary, e.g. in hospitals, schools<br />
or shopping centres.<br />
This is not valid for doors on apartments and doors on single and twofamily<br />
homes and terrace houses.<br />
Fittings:<br />
→ Escape side: rod handles or push rod across the entire width of the door.<br />
→ Outside: door handle, knob or blind plates, tested in accordance with DIN<br />
18273FS. It is not required that the free door handle end must face the<br />
door leaf!<br />
→ Double leaf doors (driving bar lock): rod handle<br />
