Our company is increasingly becoming
specialists for commercial
and security areas. This trend is
also readable in the catalogue
2010/11.
The GEOS brand has enhanced
its high quality, while the new WG4
commercial bearing is positioned
as the low-priced alternative to it.
The new locks and fittings range
for emergency exit doors brings yet
more expertises to the commercial
area. And all these product groups
can be combined with the TAC
locking system.
New bearings
In the product section of each model,
you will find reference to the two
commercial bearings, which essentially
differ first of all in terms of the load
capacities and the guarantee period
assured by us. In the price section you
will find GEOS and WG4 clearly separated
– in own lists for solid or tubular
frame doors.
Short plates in reinforced
commercial finish
All GEOS and WG4 short plates are
now equipped with an M5 screw fitting,
which is specially suitable for
the pinch screws of panic bars.

TAC now speaks a second
language: Mifare®
Beside the already renowned and
well-established Legic® system, we
can now offer a second contactless
transponder technology. Mifare® is
combined with TAC mortise locks
and is as comfortable and conforming
to standards as the first
system.
Safe and well shaped
The ZA3 series fills a gap in our
wide range of burglar-proof series.
This fitting with a 15-mm high protection
plate and a massive carrier
plate fulfils the requirements of the
resistance class 3 of the ÖNORM
B 5351 (Austrian standard) and is
available with or without the plug
protection plate.
Alt-Wien' model door fittings
in brass-PVD
All 'Alt-Wien' 900 model interior
door fittings according to ÖNORM
are now supplied with the abrasion-
and corrosion-resistant MS-
PVD surface as standard instead
of the MS finish. So far all strongly
stressed parts like house doors and
burglar-proof doors of the ZAL/ZEL
series were already manufactured
with this finish.
Conversion of the lock surfaces:
from GP to VZ
Due to the harmful effects of Cr (VI)
compounds in the galvanic surface
treatment on health, all lock series,
the corresponding locking plates
as well as the insertion rods and
window pulls from the window product
range, are converted from GP
surface to blue galvanised (VZ) and/
or Niro Look (NL) in a smooth transitional
period.
This conversion is a significant
contribution to the protection of
environment and workplace safety.
