Loans to members <strong>of</strong> the Management Board and Supervisory Board<br />

As <strong>of</strong> December <strong>31</strong>, <strong>2003</strong>, outstanding loans to members <strong>of</strong> the Management Board totaled EUR 135 TSD (2002: EUR<br />

163 TSD). Loans and advances to members <strong>of</strong> the Supervisory Board totaled EUR 161 TSD (2002: EUR 158 TSD).<br />

There were no liabilities under guarantee for these persons. Amounts lent to the Supervisory Board include loans and<br />

advances to employees delegated to the Supervisory Board by the Works Council. The maturities and terms <strong>of</strong> these loans<br />

conform to normal banking practices. In the year in question, members <strong>of</strong> the Management Board repaid EUR 29 TSD<br />

(2002: EUR 27 TSD), while members <strong>of</strong> the Supervisory Board repaid EUR 24 TSD (2002: EUR 10 TSD).<br />

III. Expenses for severance payments and pensions<br />

Expenses for severance payments and pensions relate to the following pr<strong>of</strong>it and loss account items: Wages and salaries,<br />

pension expenses, allocations to provisions for pensions and allocations to provisions for severance payments, in addition<br />

to the one-<strong>of</strong>f contribution to the ÖPAG pension fund.<br />

Expenses for severance payments and pensions for senior management amounted to EUR 4,740 TSD (2002: EUR 1,696<br />

TSD), and for other employees EUR 1,080 TSD (2002: EUR 3,984 TSD).<br />

Senior management is defined pursuant to § 80 Par. 1 <strong>of</strong> the Austrian Companies Act.<br />

IV. Management Board and Supervisory Board emoluments<br />

Emoluments paid to members <strong>of</strong> the Management Board amounted to EUR 1,055 TSD for the year in question. A total<br />

<strong>of</strong> EUR 50 TSD (2002: EUR 37 TSD) w<strong>as</strong> paid to members <strong>of</strong> the Supervisory Board. Total remuneration to former executive<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficers (<strong>of</strong> RLB reg.Gen.m.b.H.) and their surviving heirs amounted to EUR 776 TSD (2002: EUR 743 TSD).<br />
