Edward Wyszumiala
NSF International
General Manager
Dietary Supplement and Functional Food Program
Ed Wyszumiala is the general manager for NSF International’s dietary
supplement and functional food certification programs. As part of his
duties he heads NSF's dietary supplements strategic initiatives, including the development of
NSF’s certification programs and implementation of NSF’s integrated business strategies. Ed is
also involved in various in industry organizations, including CRN, UNPA, AHPA, ESSNA, NSCA and
IADSA.
Prior to joining NSF International, Mr. Wyszumiala was the Chief Operating Officer for Graminex
L.L.C. where he oversaw international business development and operations and prior to that
he served the Governor of Ohio as his Legislative Liaison with the Office of Budget and
Management.
Chris Aiyer, M.S.
Chris Aiyer has over 16 years of experience working with the
pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and has worked extensively
serving global customers. His past experience includes working at the
United States Pharmacopeia (USP) serving customers in India and
throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Chris currently serves as Senior Business Development Manager for NSF International, a notfor-profit
public health and safety organization and leading provider of Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) and dietary supplement certification. In this position, Chris focuses on
expanding NSF’s dietary supplement and GMP certification services in the Asia-Pacific region to
help ingredient and raw material manufacturers meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Chris earned his Master of Science in Biochemistry from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama
and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Christ College, Bangalore University
in Bangalore, India.
Warren Majerus
April 2010
Mr. Majerus has over 25 years of quality assurance experience in dietary
supplement and food manufacturing industry. He has been a GMP
compliance auditor with NSF International for 8 years, conducting audits,
GMP training and consulting for NSF in Asia, Europe, Canada and the US.
He also consults with Pharmore Ingredients, a DS ingredient import company, acting as their VP
of Quality Assurance. In addition, he is President of Quality Systems Implementation, a
compliance consulting firm specializing in GMP compliance.
