ride the rails or ride the roads, and if he
travels by car to a job in the city, he has
to face the question of parking when he
gets to town. For many, the twice-a-day
rush hour remains part of the price of suburban
living-and more and more seem
willing to pay the price cheerfully and even
to see the ante raised if that has to happen.
