Page 11 Trinity Tidings On Sunday evening, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. Leo Day will present the second concert in Trinity’s Legacy Concert Series. Currently Dr. Day is serving as Minister of Music at Olive Baptist Church and as an adjunct voice faculty member at the University of West Florida. Previously Leo has served on the faculty of both William Carey College and the New Orleans Baptist theological Seminary. He is a native of Canton, Mississippi and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, MS; a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY; and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Louisiana State University. Leo performs frequently throughout the southeast and northeast regions of the United States. He has also performed professionally and extensively with the Hawaii Opera Theatre of Honolulu. Dr. Day has presented programs in Russia, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Barbados, Germany and Australia. He has two solo recordings; “He Loves Me” was released in 2003 and “Solace for the Soul” was released in 2005. Please plan to join us for this extraordinary event.
