105.6.15 Heliport. An operational permit is required to engage in the business of operating a
Heliport. A Heliport is an area of land, water, or structure used or intended to be used for the
landing and takeoff of helicopters (excluding “emergency use only” heliports).
EXCEPTION:
Heliports used only as emergency helicopter landing facilities on high-rise buildings, as required
by the Department.
105.6.16 Hospital.. An operational permit is required to engage in the business of a hospital.
This occupancy shall include buildings and structures used for medical, surgical, psychiatric, or
custodial care on a 24-hour basis for more than six persons who are classified as non-ambulatory
or bedridden.
