The proper amount of light for various areas of the ground,
expressed in foot
candles, will be carefully computed so that there will be no "dead spots", where
contrast is too low,
or no areas where streets or buildings will be overliGhted.

At the top of each nylon will be a series of three horizontal planes

Throughout the grounds will be decorative structures

Research hns disclosed that the earliest

blazing pine knots. l~ kind of roof over the tnn of the basket protected it from the
weother.
In order to recreate the medieval etmosnherc in the streets of the 1furld,
special lighting fixtures resembling those primitive iron baskets will be made 3nd
suspcndc\ frOT,> poles and buildirlgs in the section. They will contain electric lights,
of course, but will provide old fashioned atmosphere in their ~rimitivL
