4. Emission limits, monitoring and other<br />
provisions<br />
4.1 Emissions of the substances listed the Tables and SE boxes below should be<br />
controlled.<br />
4.2 <strong>Guidance</strong> on techniques to achieve compliance with the industrial emissions<br />
Directive and BAT limit values and provisions is in Section 5. Monitoring of<br />
emissions should be carried out according to the method specified in this section or<br />
by an equivalent method agreed by the regulator. The latest information regarding<br />
the monitoring standards applicable can be found at the Source Testing Association<br />
website. Further information on monitoring can be found in Environment Agency<br />
publications, M1 and M2.<br />
4.3 All activities should comply with the emission limits and provisions with regard to<br />
non-VOC releases in Table 4.1.<br />
