Angle in on this fabulous fly fishing package that will send you and a friend to the exclusive
Orvis Michigan Fly Fishing School at the fabulous Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor, Michigan.
You’ll spend three nights at beautiful Fiddler’s Pond (double occupancy) as the guest of The
Homestead, America’s Freshwater Resort. While you’re there, you’ll both attend two days of
specialized classes at the Orvis Michigan Fly Fishing School at The Homestead and in Traverse
City. You’ll learn casting techniques, essential knots, how to choose your gear and tackle, stream
entomology, proper fly selection, how to play, land and safely release fish, how to read the water,
and a video analysis of your fly casting. Then, after you’ve learned how to fly fish, you’ll both enjoy
a half day of guided fly fishing on a private lake only minutes from Traverse City; great fishing fun
in quiet seclusion. Use of all the tackle is provided on the guided trip.
