Single <strong>and</strong> combination lights CHROMOPHARE ® generation D <strong>and</strong> E<br />
<strong>Cleaning</strong>, <strong>disinfection</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>sterilization</strong><br />
H<strong>and</strong>le sleeves, sterilizing Clean <strong>and</strong> disinfect h<strong>and</strong>le sleeves in the usual way before<br />
<strong>sterilization</strong>.<br />
The h<strong>and</strong>le sleeves are placed in a suitable <strong>sterilization</strong> packaging<br />
(one-time <strong>sterilization</strong> packaging, e.g. film/paper <strong>sterilization</strong> bags;<br />
single or double packaging) <strong>and</strong> sterilized.<br />
The h<strong>and</strong>le sleeves can be steam sterilized. The recommended<br />
parameters are:<br />
� 121°C/1.3 bar; 25 to 30 minutes (st<strong>and</strong>ard)<br />
� 134°C/ ca. 3 bar; 3 minutes (st<strong>and</strong>ard)<br />
� 134 °C/2-3 bar; 18 minutes (special cases)<br />
When loading the autoclave, make sure the open end of the<br />
sleeve is pointing down. Allow sufficient space around each<br />
h<strong>and</strong>le sleeve <strong>and</strong> do not allow them to come in contact with<br />
any other items being sterilized.<br />
CAUTION!<br />
Incorrect use of disinfectants can cause product<br />
damages!<br />
Not following or adhering to the instructions listed<br />
can result in product damage!<br />
It also voids any implied warranty claims!<br />
Therefore:<br />
– Hot air, ethylene oxide, formaldehyde <strong>and</strong> lowtemperature<br />
plasma <strong>sterilization</strong> are not<br />
permitted.<br />
