In addition to department awards, two officers received recognition from outside the department<br />
in <strong>2012</strong>:<br />
Officer Adam Fischhaber was recognized by<br />
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)-<br />
Michigan for his efforts to combat drunk driving.<br />
Officer Fischhaber was presented with a Certificate<br />
of Recognition on behalf of MADD by Ron Savage<br />
of Fox 2 News at the annual MADD-Michigan<br />
Lifesavers Award luncheon held today at the San<br />
Marino Club in Troy.<br />
Officer Taylor Scripps took home a 3rd place<br />
award at the annual Livingston Police Combat<br />
Pistol Shoot held on September 21, <strong>2012</strong> and<br />
September 22, <strong>2012</strong>. There were 111 shooters<br />
competing at this year’s event and Officer<br />
Scripps posted the 3rd highest score (only 1<br />
point behind the top score) in the Practical<br />
Match category.<br />
