Greatest <strong>Sports</strong> Memory: In 1990, Coach Mac was at the helm of<br />

the varsity girls and boys basketball programs. The final rounds<br />

of state were played in Hilton Head then, which was awesome<br />

because a huge crowd of folks would attend given the fun<br />

destination. In front of a packed house, both Skyhawk teams<br />

wearing black shoes (girls purchased that way; boys spray<br />

painted in parking lot that morning) claimed the title and cut down the nets!<br />

wrestling state championship and a speed and strength<br />

championship – all during my senior year. My greatest collegiate<br />

memory was going to West Virginia and beating the then #2<br />

Mountaineers at home and destroying their chances of going to the<br />

national championship game.<br />
