ARTICLE 31<br />
On petition <strong>of</strong> Maryrae Preston, 28 Thornton Street, and at least twenty-four other legal voters <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>, to see if the town will vote to authorize construction, repair, enlargement and/or<br />
improvement <strong>of</strong> a sea wall on town property in the south section <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> seaward <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Hampton</strong><br />
River Bridge (at no expense or liability) to the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>. This is non-lapsing or until rescinded.<br />

ARTICLE 32<br />
We the undersigned Registered voters and residents <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> hereby petition the <strong>Town</strong> to<br />
see if the <strong>Town</strong> will raise and appropriate $5,500 to fund the Social Service Agency Funding Request<br />
from “A Safe Place” in Portsmouth NH. A Safe Place provides shelter, support, and advocacy to victims<br />
<strong>of</strong> Domestic Abuse as well as Education about abuse to students and Civic Groups. Without the support<br />
<strong>of</strong> the towns that benefit from A Safe Place services, this valuable organization might be unable to<br />

To see if the <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> will vote to raise and appropriate through warrant article, the sum <strong>of</strong><br />
$40,000 for support <strong>of</strong> the “free care” the Seacoast Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) provides to<br />
<strong>Hampton</strong> residents. The Seacoast VNA is a non-pr<strong>of</strong>it agency that provides home and community health<br />
care services regardless <strong>of</strong> the person’s ability to pay for those services. (By Petition)<br />
