SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established at the Graduate<br />
School of Religion for outstanding young men who are<br />
preparing for the ministry.<br />
HENRY ANDREW BISSELL AND TABITHA BISSELL<br />
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR PREACH-<br />
ING: Established by Ruth Jewell Owen in memory of Henry<br />
Andrew and Tabitha Bissell to provide scholarships to students<br />
in the Center for Advanced Ministry Training-BMIN<br />
who plan to preach.<br />
BKD ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP FUND:<br />
Established by BKD Accounting Firm and its employees for<br />
students in the College of Business Administration and<br />
shall be awarded to junior, senior or graduate students with<br />
a GPA of 3.0 or higher demonstrating an interest in public<br />
accounting.<br />
JERRY L. BOLLS SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />
by Karen S. Bolls to benefit students from Calloway County,<br />
Ky., who maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.<br />
BOOTH BROTHERS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: Established by the Booth family of Searcy as a<br />
memorial scholarship fund for Searcy students.<br />
JOHN AND MARY BOWLIN ENDOWED SCHOL-<br />
ARSHIP FUND: Established from the estate of John and<br />
Mary Bowlin for financial assistance to students who are<br />
orphans.<br />
BOYD-PEGAN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND:<br />
Established by a gift from Glenn and Shirley Boyd in memory<br />
of Courtland and Stella Pegan to provide assistance to<br />
senior Bible majors who plan to teach.<br />
ROBERT L. BRACKETT CHRISTIAN BUSINESS<br />
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by<br />
Mark and Kelly Brackett in honor of their uncle to assist<br />
College of Business Administration students, with preference<br />
given to students from Florida.<br />
L.W. AND HAZEL BRAMLETT ENDOWED<br />
SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established through their estate<br />
for students from middle-income families, who have an<br />
average or below-average GPA and have difficulty securing<br />
adequate financial aid.<br />
HENRY JOHNSON BREEDLOVE SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND OF PREACHING: Established for Bible majors by<br />
Agnes Breedlove in memory of her husband.<br />
BREWER-MASON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: Established by friends and relatives of G.C. Brewer<br />
to aid worthy students, including <strong>Harding</strong> Academy.<br />
SUE BOZEMAN BROCKMAN ENDOWED SCHOL-<br />
ARSHIP FUND: Established by Bo and Pat Brockman to<br />
honor Bo’s grandmother, Sue Bozeman Brockman. Special<br />
preference will be given to children of missionaries and/or<br />
students from Christian children’s homes (not including children<br />
of children’s home employees).<br />
NORVAL AND ALBERTA BRUNER ENDOWED<br />
SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by Tim and Kathy<br />
Bruner in honor of Tim’s parents. Special preference will be<br />
given to applicants who are 1) from the Appleton, Wisconsin,<br />
area, or 2) from the state of Wisconsin.<br />
JEWELL R. BRYAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />
by Leslie and Linda Bryan to benefit students from<br />
the Wichita, Kan., area, with first preference given to members<br />
of the Central Church of Christ in Wichita.<br />
THE BUG MAN INC. SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />
by William and Sonja McCauley of Little Rock to benefit<br />
married students entering their senior year in the College<br />
of Business Administration.<br />

Russell and Rosemary Burcham to benefit students attending<br />
the <strong>University</strong>’s Graduate School of Religion in Memphis,<br />

by Maurice White Burks to benefit full-time students in the<br />

plan to be ministers of the Gospel.<br />
THE BURNS-HARRIS SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />
to assist deserving students majoring in physical<br />
science or mathematics.<br />

SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by David Campbell<br />
to honor his parents and to offer financial assistance to students<br />
with children who are seeking an education.<br />

Julia Cannon of Winston-Salem, N.C., for students from<br />
North and South Carolina and Virginia.<br />

deserving freshmen, sophomores or juniors who are pre-medicine<br />
majors who plan to attend UAMS and plan to practice<br />
