SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established in honor of Phil<br />
Dixon and Randall Castleman and to provide scholarships<br />
for any full-time student in good standing in financial need.<br />
CARLYLE DOCKERY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP:<br />
Established by Nell and Randall Owen in memory of C.C.<br />
Dockery of Pine Bluff. Preference is given to students from<br />
Pine Bluff and southeast Arkansas and descendants of<br />
Carlyle Dockery.<br />
J.L. DYKES SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established in<br />
memory of J.L. Dykes by family for students who demonstrate<br />
financial need and obtain a satisfactory grade point.<br />
JOHN THOMAS ENGLAND AND HENRY HALL<br />
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established in<br />
memory of these two men by their children, Wayne B. and<br />
Juanita England Hall, for Christian men attending <strong>Harding</strong>.<br />
Preference is given to those who are preparing to preach the<br />
Gospel.<br />
LOIS DURBIN ENOCHS ENDOWED FUND:<br />
Established by Jacquelin Emogene Enochs in memory of her<br />
mother, Lois Durbin Enochs, for financial assistance for students<br />
majoring in music, especially with an emphasis in<br />
piano, who maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0.<br />
ERNST & YOUNG ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP:<br />
Established by <strong>Harding</strong> alumni employed by Ernst & Young<br />
LLP for accounting majors.<br />
ESHEL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND:<br />
Established for students from Georgia.<br />
W.P. EUBANKS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP-LOAN<br />
FUND: Established by E.R. Shannon of Clinton in memory<br />
of Mr. and Mrs. P. Eubanks. From this fund, both loans<br />
and scholarships are awarded.<br />
JUANITA P. EVANS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: Mr. and Mrs. Larry Evans established this fund in<br />
memory of his mother. Preference will be given to fulltime<br />
students from New Jersey. If there are no applicants from<br />
New Jersey, applicants from the Northeast region of the<br />
United States shall be considered.<br />
FANNING ORPHAN FUND: For female students. One<br />
or both parents must be deceased. Scholarships range from<br />
$800 per year and are awarded upon receipt of a formal application.<br />
FIKE-CROPPER SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established<br />
at the Graduate School of Bible and Religion by Don and<br />
Bonnie Fike of Jackson, Miss., to assist committed Christians<br />
who plan to preach the gospel at home or abroad.<br />
TED M. FOWLER SR. ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: Established to honor this donor’s father for his<br />
many years of service as a gospel preacher. This fund provides<br />
scholarships to men and women who are seeking a<br />
degree from Center for Advanced Ministry Training-BMIN.<br />
JEFF GAMMELL ENDOWED MEMORIAL SCHOL-<br />
ARSHIP: Established by his father, Lamar Gammell, and<br />
friends and family in Crossett, Ark., to provide financial assistance<br />
to deserving students attending <strong>Harding</strong> for the first<br />
time. Preference is given to students who are members of the<br />
Pine Street Church of Christ in Crossett, Ark., Hazel Street<br />
Church of Christ in Pine Bluff, Ark., and Village Church<br />
of Christ in Hot Springs, Ark.<br />
JAMES AND ARVIS GANUS MEMORIAL SCHOLAR-<br />
SHIP FUND: Established by the TWL Foundation of<br />
Metairie, La., to benefit students from the New Orleans or<br />
southern Louisiana area.<br />
C.L. AND LOUISE GANUS ENDOWED SCHOLAR-<br />
SHIP FUND: Established by friends in May 1987 upon his<br />
retirement in order to provide scholarships to deserving<br />
students.<br />
L. “BUTCH” GARDNER SCHOLARSHIP FUND:<br />
Established by Rex Fowler for minority students as defined<br />
by federal guidelines and students who demonstrate financial<br />
need based on Federal Pell Grant guidelines.<br />
JACK AND ROSEMARY GARNER ENDOWED<br />
SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by Jack and<br />
Rosemary Garner for students that are Bible majors planning<br />
to preach.<br />
THEODORE AND NELLIE GARNER SCHOLAR-<br />
SHIP FUND: Established to honor Theodore and Nellie<br />
Garner by their family. Special preference for these funds will<br />
be given to: 1) sophomore students majoring in Bible, or a<br />
second semester student in Center for Advanced Ministry<br />
Training-BMIN, or a nursing major; 2) current resident of<br />
the state of Arkansas, preferably from the Arkansas hill country;<br />
3) students who are economically or financially challenged;<br />
4) students who practice Christian morals and<br />
ethics; and 5) students who have legible penmanship.<br />
GROVER S. AND CAROL L. GARRETT ENDOWED<br />
SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Established by the Garrett family<br />
to assist financially needy, full-time students.<br />
MILBURN GENTRY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: Established by Board of Trustees to honor father of<br />
Leah Burks.<br />
GEORGIA YOUTH FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: As funds are available, scholarships are provided by<br />
the Georgia Youth Foundation for students from Georgia.<br />
Awards are based on financial need.<br />
JEFFREY W. GLOVER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP<br />
FUND: Established for undergraduate sophomores or above<br />
who have a documented disability. The student must be a<br />
member of Student Support Services.<br />
LOUISE AND ELIZABETH GREEN ENDOWED<br />
SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Applicants majoring in vocational<br />
ministry will be given preference.<br />
