Sustainable Development Design
and Implementation
Profitable, innovative solutions result by integrating
the principles of sustainable development
as early in the project life cycle as possible
and throughout all project phases. In addition
to helping reduce operating costs, this approach
looks beyond the capital expenses of a project
by examining change aspects in the design (via
innovation) that lead to efficiency improvements
and value-added solutions. We adopt a coupled
approach with our clients and contribute innovative
design practices to minimize project
impacts while supporting the social growth
of neighboring communities.
Our approach involves achieving stakeholder
consensus around sustainable development
aspects, quantifying the value of these aspects,
identifying areas of value within the scope of
the project, and incorporating SD aspects and
indicators into the design process, implementation
and operation of projects.
