HEWI has had a presence in the UK and Ireland for more 

than 25 years. 

HEWI is already well known for its coloured products made 

of synthetic materials with steel core, especially for the 

classic design lever handle 111 in polyamide. This product 

was launched by HEWI in the early seventies. 

The HEWI offer is based on providing premium products,

Stainless Steel Cubes 

The contemporary, clean, lean styling of the new 805 range 

stainless steel accessories ensures clarity in sanitary facilities. 

Together with the existing products, barrierfree space concepts 

can be designed and realised. 

The HEWI sanitary range 805 made of stainless steel is suit able 

for use in projects with barrierfree wash room facilities and re si - 

dential bathrooms alike.

Sophisticated, clean lined and contemporary 

This product range offers a high safety level and perfect support. 

Range 805 with its brushed stainless steel products are a clean, contemporary solution for 

the client needs. Providing ergonomic grip zones, concealed fixings give the user safety and 

protection. 

The products high quality brushed surface finish is not prone to finger prints, is easily cleaned 

and the rigid construction provide a high level of impact resistance.

Classic, functional and safe 

Safety and comfort in the bathroom is provided for by range 801. The 

range has in excess of 50 products for the bathroom and toilet areas 

and can be integrated with range 477 products to create different 

concepts. 

Various colour options assist in creating different levels of contrast, 

for the safety and comfort of the user. The products unite a high level 

of functionality with a timeless design for an accessible bathroom.

Sanitary | System S 01 

Integration as a Concept 

The HEWI S 01 product line is a complete system, which integrates 

multiple product functions into a single, flat, vertical surface in elevation. 

The result is washbasin, WC and shower modules with enclosed, 

fold-out functions. User's have easy access to the individual functions, 

but each is not visible until it can be folded down when needed. 

As a long-standing specialist for barrierfree products, HEWI 

has of course incorporated these universal aspects in the functional 

scope of the S 01 system. 

Design of surfaces, purist aesthetic standards, integration in the room 

– these trends have been taken into accountby HEWI in collaboration 

with KSP Engel und Zimmermann Architekten, Cologne and NOA 

Produktdesign Aachen and have resulted in this innovative concept 

for sanitary facilities. 

A symbiosis of linear design, complete universal function and individual 

use characterise the S 01 system, which offers totally new 

design elements with regard to walls for sanitary facilities.

System Competence Door Area 

Based on the so-called "Gropius" or "Bauhaus lever handle", the 

French architect Robert Mallet-Stevens (1886-1945) developed this 

lever handle further in the 1920s for residential buildings in Paris. 

Constructed of round tubular steel, the lever collar and grip are 

now mitre jointed at right-angles. This shape experienced a complete 

renaissance with its use in the new architecture museum building in 

Frankfurt. 

HEWI has taken a good look at the "Frankfurter Modell" and has 

derived a whole system from it:

· For the first time ever, HEWI launches the "Frankfurter Modell" on

True Classics 

Classic, functional, versatile - lever handle 111 is more famous than 

any other one. The first lever handle of range 111 left the HEWI 

production halls in 1970. Its variety of colour, high-gloss polyamide 

surface and unambiguous language of design and geometric basic 

shapes - complied with the atmosphere of change prevalent in the 

early 1970s. It was a child of its time and in the course of the years 

has become a real classic in the true sense of the word. 

HEWI has used the "111 design” as the basis for its further development 

of a complete system of other hardware products. 

This classic design is available in three different materials to accommodate 

your specific architectural design concept. 

For different kinds of door and ranges application the program offers 

different materials such as high gloss polyamide and stainless steel. 

The newest addition is the award winning 111 lever in Soft Touch. It 

has a velvety soft surface and is pleasent to the touch. The Soft 

Touch lever handle is availabe in jet black and anthracite grey.

Minimalism in Stainless Steel 

HEWI is introducing a return to formally simple design with the new 

lever handle 185. Concentrating on the clear geometries of the rectangle 

and circle, HEWI has produced a lever handle model which is 

plain and consistent. This hardware series incorporates current architectural 

trends. 

Produced from solid stainless steel, the products offer top value and 

lasting durability. The surface and strip designed elevation is emphasised 

by the horizontal look. The lever handle is available with a round 

rose or a narrow backplate in three different finishes.

Precision in Stainless Steel 

HEWI is extending the materials used in the purist 180 series of its 

hardware range. Thus, in future, the 181 lever handle will not only be 

available in the two aluminium surfaces natural and black but also in 

stainless steel with different finishes. The precisely contoured design 

of the lever handle are produced to the highest quality. 

All products in the 180 range fulfil the project suitability criteria. The 

range includes lever handles with roses and plates in the surfaces

Presence and Dynamic 

Together with HEWI, Delugan Meissl Associated Architects Vienna 

has developed the hardware ranges 120. Its original, characteristic 

form results from a dynamically folded silhouette – high visual impact 

and extraordinary feel guaranteed. The lever handle model integrates 

the previously separate rose both in design and in functional terms. 

The framed door handle merges into the chosen long backplate in a 

similar way and thus offers an extremely elegant solution for profiled 

doors. 

The components of the 120 range will be produced from synthetic 

material with a steel core using a polyamide casting method and will 

be available in a matt black or pure white gloss finish. The initial 

range includes lever handles, framed door handles and window handles.

Individual Solutions in Polyamide, Stainless Steel and Timber 

The standardised HEWI systems allow corridors and stairways in project 

developments to be individually tailored to customer wishes and 

requirements. The separate systems offer a wide range of variants in 

styling, colours and materials, giving you the scope to create references 

to the architectural design

Safe Support 

The coloured polyamide handrail and balustrade system from HEWI is 

available in 13 colours, thereby offering comprehensive design scope. 

The careful selection of colours enables the balustrade and handrails 

to provide orientation functionality. The material used, polyamide, has 

homogeneous full colour and is exceptionally pleasant to touch. The 

non-porous surface finishes are easy to clean. 

The circum stainless steel handrail and balustrade system effortlessly 

fulfils the highest function and design standards. 

The optional handrail materials available are stainless steel, hardwood 

or polyamide. Stainless steel balustrades are available with perforated 

stainless steel panels, perforated powder coated stainless steel 

panels or toughened safety glass. Other options are also available for 

the infills.

Aluminium surface finishes 

The lever handles and knobs in the 180 Compound range 

are available in three different anodised surface finishes in 

fine gradations of grey: Lightgrey, Slategrey and Darkgrey. 

The stability and fire-protection features provided by the 

stainless steel base material guarantee the high functional 

characteristics of the products. The durable anodised 

aluminium surface finish and high-quality stainless steel 

unite to form a new look and feel.
