1.3 About <strong>netGateway</strong> <strong>DTM</strong><br />
1.3.1 Requirements<br />
You can use the <strong>netGateway</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> to configure<br />
• a <strong>netTAP</strong> device of the NT 50 device family as a gateway,<br />
• a <strong>netTAP</strong> device of the NT 100 device family as a gateway,<br />
• a <strong>netBRICK</strong> device of the NB 100 device family as a gateway,<br />
• a <strong>netTAP</strong> device of the NT 100 device family as a proxy respectively<br />
• a <strong>netLINK</strong> proxy device of the type NL 51N-DPL as a proxy<br />
within a FDT Framework.<br />
System Requirements<br />
• Windows ® 2000/ Windows ® XP<br />
• DVD ROM drive<br />
• Graphic resolution: min. 1024 x 768 pixel<br />
• Keyboard <strong>and</strong> Mouse<br />
Requirements <strong>netGateway</strong> <strong>DTM</strong><br />
To configure a <strong>netTAP</strong> NT 50 device, a <strong>netTAP</strong> NT 100 device, a <strong>netBRICK</strong><br />
NB 100 device or a <strong>netLINK</strong> proxy NL 51N-DPL device with a <strong>DTM</strong> the<br />
following requirements have to be accomplished:<br />
• Completed hardware installation of a <strong>netTAP</strong> NT 50 device, a <strong>netTAP</strong><br />
NT 100 device, a <strong>netBRICK</strong> NB 100 device respectively a <strong>netLINK</strong> proxy<br />
device, where at least a base firmware has to be loaded in the device<br />
• Installed FDT/<strong>DTM</strong> V 1.2 compliant frame application<br />
• Loaded <strong>DTM</strong> in the Device Catalog of the FTD Framework<br />
<strong>netGateway</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>netTAP</strong>, <strong>netBRICK</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>netLINK</strong> | Configuration of Gateway <strong>and</strong> Proxy Devices<br />
