Another hot day and no rain. Tractor still in the patio and will
for several days. Couldn't fix the tire; have to buy a new one. Won't get'
until Friday and this is Tuesday. Boris is doing beautiful job, of course, 0
the front stone wall. His touch will really make it something. Going to Ta<
Half of Alto Street must be on welfare. Then the bill collectors start stre
ing down the street, knocking on closed, quiet houses that had been sh
ing with noise and activity a few moments earlier. The rain on the wal
has made them a beautiful dark color with the shining gold straw.
The gallery took several of Boris's things. Mrs. Kennedy is v,
nice, and I think it's a good place. We came back the Truchas road; it Wi
beautiful. Had another look at the wonderful mud work they do so we
Tractor still here; think we'll put a little fence around it. Poor To
They got the tires on wrong, so back again to Espanola. Will this eVI
end? We are both so tired, we're shaky. So to bed.
