of her father. She's never been back to visit the house since she sold it. I<br />

think she's afraid that it would be very different and would somehow<br />

make her uncomfortable. She came out here to <strong>Santa</strong> <strong>Fe</strong> from California<br />

when they had the Baumann retrospective at the museum, but she never<br />

came to the house.<br />

Ann Baumann told me that the walls were washed once a year<br />

with Ivory Snow, a very mild soap, and warm water. But I've never done<br />

it since I moved in because I'm afraid to do it.<br />
