SHRI PAKAURI LAL: I oppose the railway fare hike in every class for the
people who are already reeling under the burden of price hike. There are a number
of people from Poorvanchal in my parliamentary constituency, Robertsganj, but
they face many difficulties due to shortage of drains.
It is requested to provide stoppage and change the routes of following trains
in public interest:
• Prayagraj Express which runs from Delhi to Allahabad should be
extended upto Shaktinagar (Sonbhadra), U.P.
• Varanasi-Singrauli Inter-city train No. 13345/13346 should be run
from Varanasi to Shaktinagar and should be linked with Gorakhpur
Varanasi train No. 15103/15104 from both the sides.
• The route of train no. 12537/12538, Bapu Dham Express should be
extended upto Shaktinagar East-Central Railway via Chunar-
Chaupan.
* SHRI GAJANAN D. BABAR: During the last ten years the entire
complexion of Pune has changed. The influx of population to Pune from various
parts of the country is continuously increasing. That is why it is necessary to start
new trains from thee for the facility of passengers. Frequency of Jodhpur and
Jaipur Express trains from Pune should be increased. Pune-Ratnagiri-Sawantwadi
train should be started. Railway stations at Hadapsar and Chinchwad should be set
