SHRI SURENDRA SINGH NAGAR : There are four or five villages
adjacent to Futa Atta unmanned railway crossing near Bulandshahar in my
parliamentary constituency where accidents frequently occur. Necessary actions
should be taken to man this railway crossing and provide adequate compensation
to family of deceased and persons injured in those accidents. The proposed
railway overbridge at Khurja railway station should be constructed on priority
basis. Necessary steps should be taken to deploy special railway police in ladies
coaches in trains plying on Delhi-Aligarh route in view of increasing number of
women passengers. Basic amenities should be provided on Khurja junction and
railway employees should be deployed on all the Ticket Booking Counters set up
there.
Direct rail link should be provided from Bulandshar to Delhi or Chola
railway station which is just 8 km away from Bulandshahar on Delhi-Howrah rail
line should be upgraded and named as Chola-Bulandshahar and all the express
trains should be given stoppage there. In view of the population of Noida and
Greater Noida, at least two railway reservation counter should be set up here. All
the express trains including Shatabdi Express should be given stoppages at Dadri
