PRODUCER’S STATEMENT
On
FORMSEAL 3000X & TEFOND PROCESS
HITCHINS NEW ZEALAND LIMITED is the marketer of Formseal 3000X Tanking
Membrane and Tefond protection sheet.
All products are produced to a high standard and subject to strict Quality Control procedures.
The Formseal 3000X Tanking Membrane and Tefond are installed by Builders Plastics
Limited approved licensed Gunac applicators in keeping with Product Technical Dataspecs
and comprehensive written Application Procedure instructions.
Isoltema of Italy confirms a durability of 50 years for its Elotene 3000X product. This product
is supplied to Hitchins New Zealand Limited and marketed in New Zealand and the Pacific
Islands under their brand name Formseal 3000X.
This product’s durability period of 50 years is that it will perform as required when application
is done exactly following the instructions mentioned in our product literature over prepared
surface that has been sealed with Formseal Primer, protected when back-filling and remain
buried or protected from UV Rays.
The Tefond range of products is manufactured by TEMA S.R.L. of Italy under strict quality
control to high production standards and carries a Durability Statement for a 30 year
period.
Tefond is a high density extruded polyethylene membrane with raised 8mm stud profiles
with side interlocking nodules at roll edges. It is supplied in rolls at 20 metres long by 2.07
wide. Overlapping and engaging the interlocking nodules of subsequent sheets produces
a continuous membrane.
The Tefond range of accessories includes fixing plugs and nails, profile flashings, Elotene
self adhesive tapes and sealants to provide a total system.
The Tefond range of products is marketed by Hitchins New Zealand Ltd and installed by an
approved Gunac applicator or skilled building contractor in keeping written installation
instructions.

Tefond provides protection to proprietary waterproofing membranes such as:

Hitchins’ Formseal 3000X, a self adhesive waterproofing membrane.
Hitchins New Zealand Limited will provide a Product Performance Warranty for these
products for a period as required under the Construction Act.
Finally Hitchins New Zealand Limited under its Producer Statement, advise that Tefond
will provide and perform as required if used and installed correctly.
