<strong>HSBC</strong>’s 330,000 employees work in 10,000 offices in 83 countries and<br />
territories. The diagram to the right shows the distribution of employees<br />

In <strong>2007</strong>, <strong>HSBC</strong>’s carbon dioxide (CO 2<br />
) emissions totalled 897,000<br />
tonnes. We have purchased the equivalent tonnage in CO 2<br />
offsets to<br />
