Level B Limitations<br />

• Not gas/vapor tight—not designed to protect from<br />

vapors/gases<br />

• Not designed or tested (NFPA 1992) to be used at<br />

scenes involving carcinogens or skin absorbable<br />

chemicals<br />

• Non compliant Level B may still leak in liquids<br />

• Non compliant Level B offers no thermal protection<br />
