To <strong>the</strong> negotiating parties:<br />
10. Consider, in direct negotiations or informal track II discussions, whe<strong>the</strong>r <strong>and</strong><br />
how to take into account core national-religious interests in a final agreement<br />
including, inter alia:<br />
a) mutual recognition <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> historical links between Islam <strong>and</strong> Judaism <strong>and</strong> <strong>of</strong> both<br />
people’s linkage to <strong>the</strong> l<strong>and</strong> between <strong>the</strong> Jordan River <strong>and</strong> Mediterranean sea;<br />
b) worship arrangements for Jews at holy sites not under <strong>Israeli</strong> sovereignty<br />
under agreed procedures;<br />
c) <strong>the</strong> possibility <strong>of</strong> some settlements remaining, by agreement, under a sovereign<br />
State <strong>of</strong> Palestine;<br />
To states <strong>and</strong> organisations funding track II initiatives:<br />
11. Support Jewish-Muslim inter-religious dialogue on political issues related to <strong>the</strong><br />
peace negotiations.<br />
12. Fund track II dialogue with a focus on encouraging national-religious inclusion<br />
in a two-state peace process.<br />
