Preservation Scene<br />
A complete class 107 3 car DMU is back together at the Tanat Valley <strong>Railway</strong> (TAN), Nantmawr<br />
Quarry with recently arrived centre trailer 59791 joining driving cars 52031 & 52005 previously moved<br />
from the Nene Valley <strong>Railway</strong>. In the photo below taken by Roger Thomas on the 22 nd January 2012<br />
the cab of ex-Embsay & Bolton Abbey <strong>Railway</strong> 52012 can also be seen coupled to 52031. With 51993<br />
also at TAN this means there are now 5 out of the 11 extant Cl.107 DMUs present at TAN.<br />
Former DMU Cl.101 driving trailer 54356 used as a loco hauled observation car on the Kyle of<br />
Lochalsh line from 1984 - 1994, has moved from the Gloucester & Warwickshire <strong>Railway</strong> (GWR) to the<br />
Nottingham Heritage Centre, Ruddington (NHC) where it is to be restored as an observation car.<br />
Stored since 1996 it is still in the green & white Hebridean<br />
coaching livery and numbered 6300,<br />
as seen on 17 th April 2011 at Winchcombe, GWR.<br />
