Miscellaneous Matters:
New track is being laid at the south end of the site by Arlington Fleet Services with access to Bay 2
now almost completed, Bay 1 to follow.
NR Cl.57s and GLVs continue to come and go for maintenance.
DBS had 66030 off the road in Eastleigh stone yard overnight on 15 th / 16 th with re-railing taking place
on the afternoon of 16 th . On 19 th 57303 was despatched from the Works to haul 66030 from the yard to
the depot.
Locos:
Preparation work has begun on 57310 for its repaint into NR yellow (as seen below with 47709).
