September 2 47773 leading a poorly 47760 headed southbound through Milton Keynes nice and slowly at 21.00. 20308 + 20309 passed Gromford (south of Saxmundham) at 16.58 with 6M69 Sizewell- Willesden flasks. 70003 was seen storming through Barrow-on- Trent with the delayed 6U77 Mountsorrel - Basford Hall. September 3 55022 ‘Royal Scots Grey’ passed through Bromsgrove at 20.37 with 1Z76 Weymouth - Crewe. 66172 + 465174 passed Denmark Hill at 19.26. 37510 passed Cambridge at 16.38 en route to Norwich light engine. 92041 + 66123 + 66010 were seen passing Wandsworth Road at 13.35. 34067 'Tangmere' passed Hanwell at12.58 light engine with no support coach. September 4 70013 ‘Oliver Cromwell’ departed Paddock Wood at 19.20 after a water stop heading to Kensington Olympia. 67005 passed Leamington Spa at 16.24 with 6M48 Eastleigh - Bescot STVA car carriers running 10 minutes early and taking the Coventry branch. September 5 92037 + 66027 departed a wet Carlisle heading southbound at 12.19 working 4M63 Mossend - Hams Hall. September 6 47500 working 1Z96 Exeter St David’s - London Victoria passed Basingstoke at 20.42’ 31106 passed Water Orton with one yellow coach heading towards Birmingham at 12.14. September 7 With LMT Cl.172's now in service, they have so far only worked south to Stratford on Avon and not between Tyseley and Leamington Spa. 172345 was seen at Birmingham Moor Street working the 13.30 to Whitlocks End (photo below from James Holloway). Also noted at Birmingham Moor Street, 150005 is once again re-formed as a 3 car set with car 52210 back in the middle. September 8 33207 + 34067 on 5Z72 Bishops Lydeard - Carnforth passed through Bishton at 17.00. 57301 + 57303 + 57305 arrived at Loughborough at 15.36 with 0Z47 ex Wembley.
September 8 (cont) 37510 was seen stabled in the yard outside Stowmarket station. September 9 66074 passed Tamworth HL at 15.32 on Wolverhampton - Immingham steel. Noted at Cardiff were 66144 with 60019 heading west on a mixed steel rake and 66098 and 66181 also waiting to head west on loaded steel at 14.59. September 10 D123 t&t with D5401 was seen at Quorn at 13.53 on a southbound GCR service. D2158 t&t 3101 + 10119 was seen at Quorn 14.28 on a northbound GCR service. 6201 ‘Princess Elizabeth’ headed through Guide Bridge with support coach 99040 at 15.22 on Crewe HC - York NRM. September 11 5029 ‘Nunney Castle’ and 47500 passed Long Dyke Jnct at 19.25 with 1Z26 Pembroke Dock - Bristol Temple Meads. 47832 t&t 47790 on 5Z54 Tyne Yd - Crewe CS. 12 ‘Sarah Siddons’ t&t 20027 with coaches 76297 71163 70823 76324 arrived at Amersham at 16.11 before departing south to West Ruislip at 16.38. September 12 DR75407 passed slowly through Stroud at 23.55. 70006 t&t 66546 on 6Y60 Gresty Lane - Warrington Bank Quay passed through Winsford at 22.22. 20309 + 20308 passed Gromford (south of Saxmundham) at 16.47 with 6M69 Sizewell- Willesden flasks. 08662 was seen on the A1M passing Wetherby services northbound on a low loader at 13.14. September 13 70013 ‘Oliver Cromwell’ worked the 1Z94 London Victoria - Weymouth passing Eastleigh at 11.42. September 14 20309 + 20308 passed Wolverton at 20.41 working Willesden – Crewe. 60007 ‘The Spirit of Tom Kendell’ was seen approaching Plumley station whilst working 6F05 Tunstead – Oakleigh. 33012 + 73136 passed Alfreton at 18.24 heading for Barrow Hill. 66087 arrived at Carlisle at 09.06 and departed 09.11 heading north on Drax – New Cumnock empty HTA hoppers. September 15 70009 headed west through Ilford at 16.37 with 4M93 to Lawley Street. 142020 worked the 13.44 service from York to Hull today. September 16 66097 + 66213 + 66012 working 0O68 Didcot - Eastleigh passed Basingstoke at 19.19. 47826 t&t 47580 on Nenta ecs from Carnforth – Norwich passed through Ely at 15.33. 156412 was noted passing through Frisby at 13.15 working ecs from Norwich - Derby Etches Park for tyre turning. After catching fire at Warwick station yesterday, 66518 was seen being towed through Tyseley station at 13.40 by 66589. September 17 172214/331/332/334 were seen just outside shed near entrance in Litchurch Lane. 37229 t&t 37510 on a Pathfinder charter from Crewe to the London area was seen at Stratford at 12.13 (photos below by James Holloway). September 18 66043 + 66114 + 66113 headed south through Leyland at 18.02 on Carlisle Yard - Warrington Arpley light engine convoy. 37087 passed through Carlisle at 19.20 on York - Carlisle Kingmoor wagon move. September 19 67003 has been through the paint facility at Toton to receive a coat of Arriva blue. No decals have been attached yet. September 21 20305 + 20302 worked out of Princes Risborough at 23.47. September 22 08571 was noted at Bounds Green Depot shunting a rake of silver Mk4 stock with DVT 82207.
