Warranty<br />

1. Warranty on all the hardware components should be valid <strong>for</strong> a<br />

period <strong>of</strong> at least 3 years from the date <strong>of</strong> acceptance <strong>of</strong> the<br />

equipment at a particular location<br />

2. During the warranty period, the <strong>tender</strong>er shall be fully<br />

responsible <strong>for</strong> the manufacturer’s warranty in respect <strong>of</strong><br />

proper design, quality <strong>and</strong> workmanship <strong>of</strong> all the equipment,<br />

accessories, etc.<br />

3. During the warranty period, the <strong>tender</strong>er shall attend <strong>to</strong> all the<br />

hardware problems on site <strong>and</strong> shall replace the defective parts<br />

at no extra cost <strong>to</strong> the purchaser.<br />

General<br />

1. IISc reserves the right <strong>to</strong> reject any or all the <strong>tender</strong>s, wholly or<br />

partly without assigning any reason there<strong>of</strong>, <strong>and</strong> shall not be<br />

bound <strong>to</strong> accept the lowest <strong>tender</strong>.<br />

2. IISc reserves the right <strong>to</strong> distribute the work across multiple<br />

<strong>tender</strong>ers, if necessary<br />

3. IISc reserves the right <strong>to</strong> alter <strong>and</strong> revise the technical<br />

specifications or the required quantity at any point <strong>of</strong> time, In<br />

case <strong>of</strong> such alteration, the <strong>tender</strong>ers will be notified duly.<br />

4. Tenderer is <strong>to</strong> abide by all the Terms <strong>and</strong> Conditions detailed<br />

above. In case, these terms <strong>and</strong> conditions are not acceptable <strong>to</strong><br />

any <strong>tender</strong>er, he should clearly specify the deviations in his<br />

<strong>tender</strong>. IISc reserves the right <strong>to</strong> accept or <strong>to</strong> reject them.<br />

Release <strong>of</strong> RFP : 16 th Feb 2010<br />

Prebid clarification meeting : 19 th Feb 2010 @ 16:30 hrs<br />

Visit <strong>to</strong> Depts.(by vendors) : 23 rd Feb 2010<br />

Receipt <strong>of</strong> vendor queries : 25 th Feb 2010<br />

Response <strong>to</strong> queries : 1 st Mar 2010<br />

Due date <strong>for</strong> submission<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>tender</strong><br />

: 8 th Mar 2010 be<strong>for</strong>e 17:00 hrs<br />
