Service Types: Brown Bag <strong>Food</strong> <strong>Program</strong>s<br />

SERVICE DESCRIPTION<br />

The program provides emergency food for people with AIDS or HIV in the Antelope Valley. Services<br />

include brown bag food programs. Proof of income is required. There are no geographic restrictions.<br />

The program provides a bag of groceries that contains a five day supply of canned and dried goods.<br />

However, clients must meet eligibility and income limits to be eligible for these services.<br />

The program provides intake for Project Angel <strong>Food</strong>'s home-delivered meals in the Antelope Valley.<br />

Meals are delivered once a week; meals are provided for three times per day for seven days. Proof of<br />

HIV/AIDS status is required.<br />

LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH<br />

Staff speak English only; Spanish interpretation is available.<br />
