A sunset resort on the southwestern tip of Mauritius, LUX* Le Morne

Location
A rugged peak, climbing 556m above sea level, stands proud on the southwest tip of Mauritius.
This is the Le Morne Brabant Peninsula where runaway slaves settled in the 18th and 19th centuries
and played a major role in defining the area’s vibrant culture. Further inland, the Black River Gorges
National Park boasts a large number of local flora and fauna, from orchids and Anthuria to Macaques,
wild boar and flying foxes. Nature, culture, flavour – you’ll find it all at Le Morne.
