move the match, a meeting was held with

• We had hoped that the logic of moving the
match would make up for the lack of
unanimity
• We were mistaken

History of the All-In Match
• “Programatic” All-In First proposed in 2007
• Tabled indefinitely when it was found that
visas were not being issued on time after
March match for people to start on July 1
• Today visas are more streamlined
• NRMP BofD believes that the time of the
Institutional All-In match
• “Institutional” All-In means fewer dropouts
from the match than a “program specific”
