N = 11.25 kHz modulation bandwidth (narrowband)<br />

W = 16 kHz modulation bandwidth (wideband)<br />

Default operation should be carrier squelch receive, CTCSS transmit. If<br />

the user can enable/disable without reprogramming the radio, the<br />

indicated CTCSS tone should also be programmed for receive, and the<br />

user instructed how and when to enable/disable.<br />
