Mike Reed offers congratulations to Chris Brown, CRC’s December
Employee of the Month. Chris joined CRC in 2003 and
has over 25 years of project manager support, including providing
business/financial support and analysis of marine gas turbine
program requirements. He supervises engineering, logistics,
and maintenance analysis for gas turbine engine programs
at NAVSEA 05. Chris is a project manager for the gas turbine
propulsion program and WebMOS, a management operating
system, supporting NAVSEA 05. He is responsible for developing,
reviewing, procuring and implementing customer hardware and software requirements for migrating
logistic support to NAVSUP. Before joining CRC, at Integic, he was project manager for gas
turbine propulsion systems, including migration of life cycle logistics support to NAVSUP. He managed
the development of an upgraded gas turbine inventory management database and Web page
interface for the Navy Inventory Control Point. He supervised the development of an IETM system
for the DDG auxiliary power supply, and he assisted in the acquisition and logistics planning for marine
gas turbine engines for all of NAVSEA. Thanks to Chris's hard work, the Gas Turbine program
support continues to grow. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two
Message from the President
As we start the New Year, it is important to face the future with enthusiasm. Wherever we may have
failed to do our best during 2004, it is time to put that behind us and start afresh. Because we are
a small company, your individual efforts are extremely important. Every cog on our wheel is critical.
Every player on the field must give his best if the team is to succeed. Let’s make a resolution for
2005 to work smarter as well as harder. If you see a better way to accomplish a task, let us know.
Most really good ideas come from the bottom up rather than the top down. Embrace change and
welcome growth. Together, we can make this year our best ever.
