Procedure Card for Accutest ® IDenta
Marijuana/Hashish Identification Field Test Kit
(Catalog No. ACS3000)
Read this procedure card thoroughly before using test kit.
Instructions
A. Remove sampler from the top of the Accutest ® IDenta
test unit.
B. Slide rubber ring off sampler and discard.
C. Press sampler’s adhesive tip onto suspected substance,
collecting as much substance as possible.
D. Return sampler to the test unit, and press firmly to lock.
Warning:
Do not continue to the next step until sampler is
completely locked into place.
E. With thumb and forefinger, firmly press Chamber 1 until
ampoule breaks.
F. Gently shake test unit for 1 minute.
(No color will appear at this point)
G. With thumb and forefinger, firmly press Chamber 2 until
ampoule breaks.

SIDE 2
H. Gently shake test unit for a few seconds.
I. A blue-violet color in the window indicates the
presence of Marijuana or Hashish.
J. If a blue-violet color develops, proceed with step L to
confirm presence of Marijuana/Hashish.
*Note: If the quality of drug is poor, color development may
be more gradual – over 1 minute. Please allow sufficient time
for blue-violet (or purple) color development.
K. If a blue-violet color does NOT develop, neither Marijuana
nor Hashish is present and confirmation is not required.
Confirmation
L. With thumb and forefinger, firmly press chamber 3 until
ampoule breaks.
M. Gently shake test unit for a few seconds. Hold steady to allow
layers to separate. Once window contents settle, two
liquid layers will form.
N. If the lower liquid layer turns a blue violet color, the presence
of Marijuana/Hashish is confirmed. Color may darken with time.
Note: Compare all colors in the window with the “ColorCheck” sticker.
Important: As a precaution, gloves should be worn when handling drug substances and using test units. Eye protection should also be worn.
This kit contains a strong acid (32% hydrochloric acid) and will cause severe burns. First Aid Measures: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with water for 15
minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. In case of accidental ingestion, drink one glass of water. Call physician or local Poison Control Center (800-222-1222)
immediately. Review appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for toxicity and first aid information. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available upon request
