Named after the legendary Kit Calvert,
who rescued the Wensleydale Creamery
from closure in the 1930’s, Calvert’s
Restaurant is where you can relax and
soak up more of the stunning
Wensleydale landscape.
Choose from a generous heart-warming menu, created
using local ingredients, with some dishes inspired by
the use of our cheese too!
Treat yourself to a little time out in our welcoming
1897 Coffee Shop, with an enviable panoramic view
over the rolling Yorkshire Dales.
Take your pick of speciality coffees and Yorkshire teas -
complemented by Wensleydale milk, of course - plus
home-made cakes, sandwiches, and delicious
cheese on toast to keep you fuelled
throughout the day.
