premièred his spring/summer collection<br />
at Les Résidences au Ritz-Carlton May 1.<br />
The invitation-only 5 à 7 cocktail featured<br />
models and Lacasse customers, including<br />
Cheryl Besner-Cohen, the Céline Dion<br />
look-alike and author of her man-seeking<br />
blog.<br />
Guests included the ever elegant Lise<br />
Watier with her husband Serge Rocheleau.<br />
The Lise Watier spring make-up line was<br />
worn by the models.<br />
Noted in the crowd was Dorothy Karkoukly,<br />
chicly couture-clad in spring-like<br />
daffodil yellow and white; Ruscandra<br />
Calin, director of sales, Les Résidences, in<br />
a lovely Palm Beach-style floral patterned<br />
sheath in black and white, and <strong>Westmount</strong>ers<br />
Frank and Rosemary Niro, in a<br />
stylishly simple white sheath; and Carmel<br />
Yves Jean Lacasse and Carmel Mintzberg.<br />

is president of that organization’s<br />
board. Its<br />
founder, Rolande<br />
Royer, was present,<br />
wearing a Chanelstyle<br />
suit. Also noted<br />
was Quebec celeb and<br />
singing star Patsy<br />
Gallant, Marie-Josée<br />
Caya, Charles Pion,<br />
Ginette Amico and<br />
Caroline Codsi.<br />

long navy jacket with<br />
a high collar, as he adjusted<br />
the models’<br />
brocade and shimmering<br />
satin gowns,<br />
and the men’s blazer<br />
ensembles.<br />
