as disclosed in the Company‟s <strong>Statement</strong> <strong>of</strong> Financial Position.<br />
The ratio <strong>of</strong> Consolidated Shareholder Funds excluding the revaluation reserve to Total<br />
Assets less the revaluation reserve is referred to as the historic cost basis.<br />
Accumulated pr<strong>of</strong>it and capital reserve distributions to <strong>Auckland</strong> Council<br />
<strong>Auckland</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> does not anticipate making a distribution to <strong>Auckland</strong> Council as <strong>Auckland</strong> <strong>Transport</strong><br />
is funded at a level to undertake the operating and capital programmes agreed with the Council.<br />

While <strong>Auckland</strong> <strong>Transport</strong>‟s assets are valued every three years, <strong>Auckland</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> does not have a<br />
commercial value per se. The value associated with the operation <strong>of</strong> <strong>Auckland</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> is in the<br />
delivery <strong>of</strong> public goods and benefits to the <strong>Auckland</strong> community.
