VICE COMMODORE’S VICE COLUMN<br />

Welcome to the second edion of the Vice Column! We have made it to the second month, no complaints<br />
and we are in print again!<br />
Walking around the jey system the other week, I was asked by a member what does the Vice Commodore<br />
do at CYC. Many of you would know but for those of you that are unaware, I prey much follow the<br />
Commodore and act as a deputy if he cannot aend a funcon. Recently I have been involved with recently<br />
planning where we are going in the next few years, reviewing our performance from our past plan<br />
and member parcipaon.<br />
Looking at past member surveys we have similar issues today; an aging membership, limited parking, limited<br />
member events and facilies. The commiees and our general manager are hatching a plan, which<br />
will hopefully increase our membership and offer a greater range and ulmately beer facilies for everybody<br />
at CYC.<br />
Well, no winners last month, and the item photographed close up was Chas Milner’s old Cray pot!<br />
The photo was taken close up to the plasc slats on the top from a low camera angle!<br />
