Note: Two Pasadena Star-News
newspaper articles (from 1918
& 1927) reported that Pasadena
artist Frank E. Brown was one of
"four or five men in the world" who
specialize in painting 'bird's eye'
or panoramic views of scenes
which could not be recorded by
conventional means. Brown's
unusual methods of working
included climbing telephone
poles and rooftops to make
preliminary sketches. Condition:
Visual: Generally good condition.
Blacklight: Two 1" x 1/2" areas
of touch-up with some other
scattered lines of touch-up in the
upper center in the sky.

no evidence of foxing, staining

held to the back mat with corner
hinges.
