Liner-Free Support<br />
In cases where liner-free media is used, the <strong>LP</strong>/T<strong>LP</strong> <strong>2844</strong> can be equipped with a<br />
liner-free compatible platen. The platen can be ordered factory installed on a brand<br />
new printer, or it can be upgraded to an <strong>LP</strong>/T<strong>LP</strong> <strong>2844</strong> in the field. The liner-free<br />
platen cannot be used on standard media and Zebra strongly recommends only use<br />
of Zebra approved liner-free media.<br />
External Rewinder<br />
To support either label peeling applications or batch printing of large rolls, Zebra<br />
offers an external rewinder which is compatible with the <strong>LP</strong>/T<strong>LP</strong> <strong>2844</strong> printers. The<br />
rewinder is a standalone unit with its own power supply to drive the take-up spool.<br />
The rewinder can rewind paper, label backing, labels, as well as tags.<br />
