of £1.1 million in bursaries and<br />
scholarships to directly assist new<br />

<strong>Lancaster</strong> <strong>University</strong> bursaries:<br />
If you are a UK student and you have<br />
been assessed by your assessment<br />
authority to have an income less than<br />
£34,000* then you will be awarded a<br />
<strong>Lancaster</strong> <strong>University</strong> bursary of £1,000<br />
per year.<br />
Bursaries will be paid directly into your<br />
bank account. You do not need to<br />
apply, they will be autom<strong>at</strong>ically<br />
triggered each year by the inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
received by the <strong>University</strong> from your<br />
LEA.<br />

scholarships (open to overseas and<br />

academic scholarships:<br />
All UK students who choose a <strong>Lancaster</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> <strong>Physics</strong> course as their firm<br />
choice and achieve AAA <strong>at</strong> A-level will<br />
be eligible to receive a <strong>Lancaster</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> Academic Scholarship of<br />
£1,000 per year towards maintenance<br />
support. The <strong>University</strong> will remind you<br />
of this <strong>at</strong> the same time as you receive<br />
an offer of a place via UCAS.<br />

The Eliahou Dangoor Scholarship<br />
Scheme was cre<strong>at</strong>ed to give talented<br />
British students the opportunity to study<br />
science, and rel<strong>at</strong>ed subjects, <strong>at</strong> leading<br />
edge research universities. Each<br />
scholarship is worth £1,000. Please see<br />
