SURGEON POSITION
The Department of Orthopaedics at The Warren
Alpert Medical School of Brown University is
seeking a fellowship trained, board certified/
eligible surgeon to join the Division of
Shoulder and Elbow Surgery as Associate
Director of the Division and Co-Director of
the Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship. This
is an academic full-time faculty position
at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.
The successful applicant must be broadly
trained in shoulder and elbow surgery and
have demonstrated a commitment to teaching
and research related to shoulder and elbow
disorders with a strong record of academic
productivity. The Division of Shoulder and
Elbow Surgery, under the direction of Andrew
Green, MD, services a broad spectrum of
patients from throughout Southeastern New
England. In addition, Rhode Island Hospital
is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the
region. He/she would work with the surgeonin-charge,
Andrew Green, M.D. in supervising
and teaching fellows, residents, and medical
students. The department has extensive basic
science research facilities, as well as a surgical
arthroscopy and bioskills laboratory. He/she
would either be expected to interact with the
orthopaedic research laboratories or be active
in clinical outcomes research. Rank and

Academic Spine Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Stanford
University School of Medicine seeks an academic spine
surgeon to join the department during the next 12 months.
This faculty position will be at the Assistant, Associate, or
Professor level in the Medical Center Line (MCL). The major
criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line
shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical
teaching, and scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine,
and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need
the individual is expected to fulfill. The candidate must be
board eligible/certified in orthopaedic surgery with fellowship
training in spine surgery. Faculty rank will be determined by the
qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

seeking BE/BC fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon
for the role of Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at an affiliate
hospital. Area of specialty should include general
