The WSDC 2008 Country Exhibition was held Tuesday evening in<br />
the hotel and was an unqualified success. Thirty-two countries<br />
exhibited their culture, history, geography, music, interests, flags,<br />
fashions and a whole lot more. Friendships were made and others<br />
solidified.<br />
Students, judges and coaches were invited to come and share<br />
their culture. The call for the event was:<br />
In order to facilitate the sharing of cultures and histories that is such<br />
an important part of the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> <strong>Debating</strong> Championship the<br />
tournament will be sponsoring a “Country Exhibition.”<br />
The idea is for each delegation to bring some items from their<br />
country to share with others. Each country will be given a table for<br />
their display, and all tournament attendees will be invited to stroll<br />
around the room and see as well as share. People can alternate<br />
between being at their country tables as well as strolling around and<br />
visiting the tables of other countries.<br />
