TEAM PERU<br />

Team Peru 2008 is proud to be the 13 th Peruvian delegation to attend the<br />

WSDC.<br />

Arturo Montalvan enjoys debating under the influence of cough syrup and<br />

abusing his power as team captain. Known for his extreme dislike for sarcasm,<br />

under his administration the institutions of democracy were seriously tarnished.<br />

Karina Rodriguez is proudly vertically challenged. The voice of reason in our<br />

team, she took it upon herself to steer the team into wearing a uniform, failing<br />

miserably. Official Replyer of the 2008 National Peruvian Debate Team.<br />

Lucas Ghersi is proud to hold the largest head in Peru and a world-renowned<br />

majestic unibrow. His life goal is to speak without note cards.<br />

Gabriel Puliatti started debating as soon as he learned how to speak. He likes<br />

pizza and monetary deflation. He complains about women a lot… but we all<br />

know he can’t live without them.<br />

Stephanie Guin was supposed to be the observer for Team Peru. However,<br />

under dubious circumstances, our fifth team member disappeared (she has not<br />
