Trophy
The original trophy is modelled in the shape of a
folded banner with one side broken by a relief of a
silhouette of a singing mouth which is multiplied
to imply a choir. The material used is ceramics
which has been fired to 1100 degrees centigrade.
It is the work of contemporary Maltese artist Paul
Haber who is a ceramics graduate of the Central St.
Martin College of Art and Design in London. Haber
is well known for his artistic trophies exclusively
designed for various important occasions and
festivals on the Maltese Islands.
His ceramic art pieces have been shown in solo and
collective exhibitions in many important museums
and galleries in Malta, Europe and USA. His works
have received various medals and accolades both
in Malta and abroad.
