3.3.5.4 Event Packet<br />

Event messages contain information on events detected by the Naqs internal Event<br />

Associator subsystem.<br />

Header:<br />

4 byte int Signature = 0x7ABCDE0F<br />

4 byte int <strong>Data</strong> type = 6<br />

4 byte int <strong>Data</strong> length = 28 + N*12<br />

Content:<br />

4 byte int The event phase:<br />

0 event on, sent when the event is first detected<br />

1 event on, sent at the end of the user-defined coincidence<br />

window<br />

(see the Event Associator section in the naqs.ini file).<br />

2 event off, sent when all channels have stopped triggering,<br />

or when the event has expired<br />

4 byte int The type of triggers included in the event. The trigger type is defined<br />

by the DetectorType TypeID parameter in the naqs.stn file.<br />

8 byte double The start time of the event, in seconds since January 1, 1970.<br />

8 byte double The event duration, in seconds.<br />

4 byte int N = The number of data channels included in this event.<br />

N*12 bytes zero-terminated station-channel name for each of the channels<br />

included in the event.<br />
